Although we are not a community
service organization, we do believe in
giving back to the communities we serve.
"We thought there was a need for a business group that was
not only business-focused but community-service focused," said
Mike Shain, a founding member of GMBA. "Although it is a
business group, one of our credos is to give back to the
community."
Some of GMBA's Give Backs
TV FOR LIBARY
Members of a local business networking and support group, the
Greater Milford Business Alliance, donated a flat screen
television to The Milford Town Library. The Greater Milford
Business Alliance meets every two weeks at The Milford Town
library at 7am. The donation of this television will be used for
the library's "teen room", where many kids use it after school
for various activities. The donation of the TV was the groups
way of saying "thank you" to the library and its staff for
allowing their non-profit group to use their meeting room. The
groups motto of “Succeeding in business by helping our
Neighbors” is exemplified in this donation.
